About Me
Hi, my name is Robbert-Jan de Jong and I’m currently a Media technology student at the “Hogeschool Utrecht” living in the Netherlands.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve been fascinated by the internet. Today I’m still that same kid in a way. 
Witch is why I chose to study media technology, an education
where I learned the various aspects of web development. Today I like to create websites in my spare time. It’s is a way for me to be creative and use logic thinking at the same time.

Freelance Work
Besides my education I develop websites on a freelance basis. This is a great way for me build up some experience.
When I create my websites I make sure they are compliant with the standards set by the W3C. This insures the website will work on almost every computer.
I always strive to create a design that fits within the subject of the website and keeping it user friendly. Always looking for the smallest of details that really give your website a personal feeling.
With all these challenges I can put the things I learn during my education in to practice.
Currently entering in the Smashing Magazine Style switching contest. You might not see it, but it's defenitly there !
Latest Project
I have been working on a website for the css zengarden project for a while now whenever i had some spare time and it’s finally ready. Now i can only hope it gets accepted
